Congratulations to coach Kara Lawson and the US 3x3 team as they won gold, defeating Russian Olympic Committee in the title game 18-15.
Olga Frolkina, who was the leading scorer in the 3x3 tournament, was held to one point as the US just clamped down on defense. Good thing too since they missed all of their two point shots.
It doesn’t much matter though - the US has the gold and Lawson adds yet another accomplishment to her resume.
