YouTube Gold: Giannis Celebrates At Chick-Fil-A

It’s pretty clear at this point that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a breath of fresh air that the NBA can really use.

A lot of you have probably seen some version of the Chick-Fil-A video by now but to recap for those who haven’t:

Antetokounmpo, understandably, stayed up all night after winning the championship as he notes here, saying he can’t sleep.

So he went to Chick-Fil-A. With both the championship trophy and his MVP trophy.

And at Chick-Fil-A, he had some fun. He ordered 50 Chicken minis - exactly 50, not 49 or 51...exactly 50. He very politely asked the woman taking his order if he could put her on camera and told her 150,000 people were watching. Then he visited with some of his adoring Milwaukee fans and on the way out, asked if he could get free Chick-Fil-A for life.

If Chick-Fil-A is smart, they’ll give it to him and maybe, as @daynetic suggested, create a Giannis special - 50 minis and a half-sprite half-lemonade drink.

He’s the best thing that’s happened to the NBA since Michael Jordan and he’s bonded with Milwaukee fans in a way that LeBron James, and Kevin Durant, will never be able to bond with fans of whatever team they play for.
