Too Little Too Late But Chris Paul Gets Called Out For Dirty Play

If there was a stat for dirty plays, Paul would be Top 10 in the league

Those of us who saw Chris Paul at Wake Forest know that he has a long history of dirty plays - just ask Julius Hodge, who Paul hit in the testicles, an act that saw the ACC suspend him for (we think just) one game.

It’s been a theme of his career though. Just go to YouTube and type in Chris Paul dirty play and you’ll get this.

It’s nothing new, as we said, and it’s not like Hodge was the only guy who's taken a shot south of the border from Paul. It just amazes us that former Blue Devil Grayson Allen gets so much heat and Paul gets none, despite doing this kind of thing for almost 20 years.

Well he’s under fire again, this time for pushing Giannis Antetokounmpo as he was flying in for a dunk (by the way have you noticed how many places have just stopped bothering to try to spell Antetokounmpo and are just calling him Giannis?)

Hilariously, one of the guys who called him out on Twitter was Hodge himself, and he should know.

Paul is a legitimately great player and he will be in the Hall of Fame someday. But if some wiseguy runs up and hits him in the face with a cream pie during his induction speech to remind people of what a nasty character he was at times, he’ll have no one to blame but himself.

Shoot, it might even be Hodge himself.
