Duke Brotherhood Playoff Watch - LA Clippers Fall Hard To Phoenix

Talk about a tough loss

Los Angeles Clippers v Phoenix Suns - Game Two
PHOENIX, ARIZONA - JUNE 22: Deandre Ayton #22 of the Phoenix Suns dunks the ball over Ivica Zubac #40 of the LA Clippers during the fourth quarter in game two of the NBA Western Conference finals in-which the Phoenix Suns defeated the LA Clippers 104-103 at Phoenix Suns Arena on June 22, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona.

If you didn’t see the end of the Suns-Clippers game, well, you’re in for a treat. But first, let’s set the table a bit.

George Paul blew it.

There’s no other way to put it. When you go to the line up one, in the NBA playoffs, with 8.2 left and miss them both, well, you blew it. You could see it in his face too as he stepped away from the line. Before those misses, the worst the Clippers could do was overtime. After? Too much opportunity.

But then Phoenix almost blew it as Mikal Bridges took a three with 3.3 left. Phoenix got the rebound with 0.8 left, called a TO and ran a play for Deandre Ayton, who got to the basket and flushed an alley top over Ivica Zubac, who just went into the Posterized Hall of Fame.

Luke Kennard got 19 minutes and scored 10, hitting 2-5 on threes and 4-7 overall.

On Wednesday, the Hawks and the Bucks get going. Cam Reddish is now listed as questionable so we might finally get to see him play.
