If you had to pick your favorite Duke players you have a long list to choose from: Christian Laettner, Grant Hill, Bobby Hurley, Shane Battier, Jason Williams, Jayson Tatum, RJ Barrett, Zion Williamson - the list goes on a long ways.

But if you want to pick your favorite people out of that group, the list gets shorter. For us, there just aren't too many who we like or respect more than Chris Carrawell.

So we were really pleased to see C-Well has been promoted to Duke’s associate head coach. He’s just the best. We interviewed him once and he was the most relaxed, the most authentic, the nicest person you could possibly imagine. He’s the kind of person who makes the room better when he walks in.

He’ll do a great job as associate head coach and in whatever life brings him. You can distinguish yourself in many ways, earn lots of honors, or what have you. But not many people are as naturally authentic and immediately likeable as Carrawell is. We just think the world of him and are thrilled that he’s earned this.
