When you’re wrong about something it’s best to just admit it and we were really, really wrong about LaMelo Ball.
We figured he had been messed up by his father’s stupid mistakes but he has risen above that. We thought that moving from high school to two overseas teams would hurt as much as help the (then) skinny teen. Apparently not.
Ball has emerged as a superb rookie for the Charlotte Hornets and, very much to our surprise, looks as if he might surpass big brother Lonzo as an NBA talent.
He announced his return from his wrist injury with this insanely great pass to teammate Miles Bridges. Maybe Lonzo could make that pass - we’r sure he’s at least seen it. Otherwise though? Not many people could do that.
But there’s more fun. Watch this video and look for the bullet pass inside. He’s on the verge of emerging as one of the finest passers in recent NBA history and pushing to become the best in the league right now.
