Saturday was a busy day for Blue Devils in the NBA, starting with Boston vs. Brooklyn. Kyrie Irving had 29 points, six rebounds and one assist for the Nets while Jayson Tatum had 22 points and Jabari Parker had nine off the bench. Brooklyn won 104-93. The Nets would probably have won regardless, but Boston’s injuries made life tougher.
Dallas beat the Clippers 113-103 but Luke Kennard got a DNP - coach’s decision.
Austin Rivers and Harry Giles were on opposite sidelines as Portland knocked off Denver 123-109.
Rivers started and got six points while Giles didn’t get off the bench.
Sunday is Fun day when it comes to the Brotherhood: New York and RJ Barrett take on the Hawks, albeit without Cam Reddish, while Grayson Allen, Tyus Jones and Justise Winslow of the Grizzlies will challenge Quin Snyder’s Jazz. Memphis is playing with confidence while the Jazz finished with the best regular-season record in franchise history.
