Former Devil Henry Coleman Makes His Choice

He’ll be an Aggie for Buzz Williams

Former Duke player Henry Coleman, who entered the transfer portal recently, has made his choice and will be playing for Texas A&M.

The coach there of course is former Virginia Tech coach Buzz Williams, who will probably find a use for Coleman.

Williams tends to have smallish but very athletic teams so we could see Coleman playing anywhere in the front court for him. He’s strong enough to defend centers but wouldn’t have to be chained to the post, which isn’t something Williams is big on anyway.

Williams is now in his second season with the Aggies. The first year he finished 16-14 and this past Covid season, 8-10.

As we’ve said many times, just about everyone, except for maybe the awful Dave Leitao, should get a pass on 2020.

Williams built quickly at Virginia Tech so we suspect he’ll do well in College Station and Coleman, a high character guy, will almost certainly max out there.
