YouTube Gold: Stephen A. Smith On Zion-To-New-York Hype

He’s not buying it...but check out the way he’s not buying it

Stephen A. Smith....now there’s a guy people usually either love or hate.

Here? It’s 50/50. We like him a lot at times and at other times, we just reach for the remote or trackpad and move along.

This time, we have to say, Stephen A. is funny, poignant and cool as hell as he plays the eternally screwed New York Knicks fan to perfection.

The subject is former Duke star Zion Williamson saying how much he appreciates New York and Madison Square Garden and considers it his second favorite place to play, behind in New Orleans.

He’s paired here with Max Kellerman who goes first, talking about how excited he is and that Zion is bound to be in New York in the prime of his career.

Stephen A., for a change, is quiet, at times shaking his head, putting his face in his hand, before finally unloading.

Basically he says New York is all about disappointment and heartbreak and that while RJ Barrett is a nice player who’s improving, he can’t see that changing and that there’s absolutely no reason to expect Williamson to end up in New York - ever.
