Last season, as we’ve pointed out several times this year, Zion Williamson got an unfair amount of criticism as an NBA rookie. He had to deal with an injury, a pandemic, and then a family emergency.
It wasn’t easy.
This year?
Different story.
Williamson has dazzled and is one of only a couple of players who have ever been able to play all five positions.
His feel for the game has had him playing point guard a lot but he dominates inside too. He’s just different.
Not surprisingly, given the historically great season he’s having in Year II, Jordan Brand has put him in a pair of signature shoes: the Zion 1.
Most charmingly, he continues to insist that his little brother Noah be involved, and one part of the design was directly from his kid brother. How can you not love that?
Even better, he says that Noah will always have a role in his shoe business.
