In this year’s NBA dunk contest, former Blue Devil Cassius Stanley’s first dunk was a stunner. Grayson Allen explains here why it was so challenging, yet Stanley only got a 44 out of 50.
A lot of people were unhappy with that. Rex Chapman said “Cassius Stanley’s first dunk was a 50 if there’s ever been one.”
Draymond Green said “They robbed Cassius“ but then he said “then he robbed himself.”
Ouch.
Anyway, his first dunk was pretty amazing, even if you don’t appreciate the challenges as well as Allen does. Who does this?
Turns out Stanley felt much the same way, saying this after the contest: “I get to be in the list of people who might have been robbed for a 50. So that’s pretty cool, I guess.”
