We talk a lot here about how much we admire great passing. It’s the most interesting part of Zion Williamson’s game in many respects. You can't stop him because he can overwhelm just about anyone and if you focus on him he finds the cutter. There’s just no easy answer.

It’s a rare gift though but a freshman seems to have it.

We’re talking about UConn’s Paige Bueckers who is the best passer in college, male or female.

Watch some of the gems on this video and you’ll see what we mean. She passes with authority and imagination. Audiences have been denied the chance to see her by and large so we haven’t heard the rush of oohs and ahhhs that we hear when people see a great and unexpected pass, but we will. And look too at how well she understands shooting angles.

She reminds us a bit of Bobby Hurley at Duke because her daring and imagination are similar. Look for her on the Olympic team.
