As former Duke star Zion Williamson continues his rapid ascent in the NBA, obviously a lot of people are taking notice. But we don’t think we’ve heard anything quite like what former NBA star Eddie Johnson had to say about him.

On his XMSirius radio show that he co-hosts with Justin Termine, Johnson said that young Williamson has thoroughly intimidated the NBA.

“...there are players in the league right now that are extremely intimidated by Zion. They don’t want no part of him, man. He hurts you! He literally hurts you - he literally hurts guys when he drives. They don’t want it at all and I think he senses it.

“He’s punked a lot of dudes in this league...that’s what he’s doing to guys, man...they get out of his way, Yeah, I know he’s a great athlete and all that but c’mon man. I’d like to know how many charges have been drawn against Zion Williamson. That’s all I wanna know! I guarantee it’s not a ton. They don't want it.

“He’s pretty much punked a lot of guys who play in that paint and that’s why he’s gonna continue to score with ease in there.”
