Moses Wright Is Out For Georgia Tech This Weekend

What an awful break for the admirable Yellow Jackets

We weren’t sure Georgia Tech could beat Loyola with Moses Wright and we just can’t see it without the big man who is out for that game and, if they should somehow win it, Illinois in the next one - we just can’t see Drexel advancing, which, of course, is the kiss of death for the Illini. We know what our power is here and use is sparingly. Take that however you’d like.

It’s a shame for the Yellow Jackets who have played very, very well down the stretch, not least of all in Greensboro.

Although it hasn’t officially been reported as Covid yet, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution seems to think that it is and since we know one member of Tech’s traveling party has been diagnosed, it’s reasonable to assume that it’s him.

On the bright side, coach Josh Pastner said earlier that the person who tested positive was asymptomatic which is very good news for the person in question, if not the team.
