Former Blue Devil Zion Williamson continues to perform at a level that gets him mentioned with some of history's great players statistically: Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O’Neal and Michael Jordan, to name a few.
This is primarily because of his scoring pace and consistency and for shooting an amazingly high percentage.
Take Sunday’s game against the Clippers where Williamson finished with 27 points on 13-16 from the floor and consider who the Clippers have: Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, not to mention Nicolas Batum, who is also an excellent defender and Serge Ibaka, although Ibaka only played eight minutes.
Still, for normal players, that’s a lot of defenders.
Clearly it didn't matter: Williamson had his way with the Clippers as he has begun to do with every NBA team - and he doesn’t turn 21 until July.
Here are his highlights from Sunday’s game.
By the way, fellow former Devil Luke Kennard had a solid game for the Clippers, hitting for 15 points in 19 minutes.
