With Duke-UNC coming Saturday, we thought we’d link to some games in the series for our YouTube Golds this week.

First up is 2014 in Cameron. In this game, Duke started Jabari Parker, Rodney Hood, Josh Hairston, Tyler Thornton and Andre Dawkins, bringing Amile Jefferson, Marshall Plumlee, Matt Jones, Rasheed Sulaimon and Quinn Cook off the bench.

Five of those guys would go on to play in the NBA.

UNC started Kennedy Meeks, JP Tokoto, James Michael McAdoo, Marcus Paige and Leslie McDonald.

We don’t recall why Duke started that lineup but we’re guessing it might have had something to do with the previous game, a loss at hapless Wake Forest.

Whether that was it or something else, Duke handled the Tar Heels with relative ease. The thrilling, pulsing wins are great but sometimes the real easy wins are fun too. Duke won 93-81 as the Crazies had some fun down the stretch.

Also notable: Bill Walton is on the broadcast and this is before he, uh, relaxed. He’s wearing a suit if you can believe it.

Duke would go on to lose to Virginia in the ACC Finals, and then be upset by Mercer in the NCAA Tournament.
