YouTube Gold: Paolo Banchero: Why Duke?

Duke Basketball’s social media team really does some great work. Take this new video for instance where Paolo Banchero answers the simple question: Why Duke?

Standing in front of a roaring fire he points to it and says: “this ain’t it.”

And then he says “let me show you.” And he does.

He explains that he came to Duke to find his own way among other greats. He talks about the “beautiful campus” and Duke’s athletic facilities and says...”it just breeds dogs, man!”

He says Duke has the tradition, Duke has the brand, and some nice things about Cameron, the Crazies and the general bright lights and says: “we set the standard.”

And then he says this: “built by the players...for the players...The Brotherhood.”

Mostly true. The players are the ones who play. But the architect of it all is still Mike Krzyzewski, who created the template that the players continue to elaborate upon.

You should definitely watch this. Duke fans will love it.
