It’s almost time...

Duke released TV information for the non-conference part of the schedule. Most of it’s pretty predictable but let’s just look at a couple of things.

First, the info for the Kentucky game is still TBA so we’ll see about that later on. So is the Ohio State game but that’s part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge so that’s what you’d expect. They’ll announce all of that at the same time obviously.

But the Gonzaga game?

Tipoff is 10:30. That’s going to be a no-go for a lot of kids and, for that matter, people who have to get up early to go to work and older people who just don’t care to stay up late.

We get it - TV pays the bills so TV makes the decisions on stuff like this. But it’s far less than ideal. It’s hard to build passion in young fans if they have trouble seeing the best games.
