YouTube Gold: Jayson Tatum Does It Again

Buzzer beaters are becoming a habit for Boston’s young star

Former Blue Devil Jayson Tatum is making a habit of game winning shots. He had a great one to start the season against Milwaukee, nailing a three over Giannis Antetokounmpo, aka the Greek Freak, who somehow looked wary and uncertain as Tatum took and hit his clutch shot from the left of the key. More like the far left - it was a deep three.

His shot against Detroit Sunday night wasn’t as deep and it came against Blake Griffin, still a great player but hardly Antetokounmpo.

Tatum shook Griffin, who stumbled, then nailed the jumper to give Boston a 122-120 lead. On the following play, Griffin again stumbled and couldn’t get a decent shot off. This one was also from the left, though closer in than the shot against Milwaukee was.

Maybe it’s just us, but we’d probably try to keep Tatum away from that general area in clutch time.
