As you know, Duke women have called an end to the season due to Covid, but as you probably also know, there is never an end to recruiting.

So it’s not a huge surprise that Duke added a recruit over the weekend as former Louisville Cardinal Nyah Green announced she is transferring to Kara Lawson’s Duke program.

Green, a 6-1 native of Allen, Texas, red-shirted last year and has barely played this year. She was a 5-star recruit out of high school though and will find opportunities with the Blue Devils.

It’s unclear when she’ll actually join the team. She could be in Durham very soon but might choose to study remotely for the semester since Duke has canceled the season.

Or she might move to campus to train and, presumably, practice with the team.

Whenever she actually gets on the court for Duke, she’ll certainly be an asset and being in Louisville’s program will only give her a head start.
