Here’s an interesting project for someone to take up, sort of anyway. Take a look at every major college program and every NFL team and see, over a period of time who has had the least injuries.
You could factor various things into the study like trainers, drills, and so forth. You might find some revealing stuff.
What you will probably never find though is this: a team that went through a season with no injuries. It’s inconceivable.
So it’s no surprise when Duke has a few.
On Wednesday, Duke revealed that center Jack Wohlabaugh blew out an ACL and cornerback Ken Torain has a shoulder injury.
This on top of the running back injuries - Jaylen Coleman and Marvin Hubbard are out for the year - is a trend we hope stops soon.
- Duke football loses starting center Jack Wohlabaugh to ACL injury that needs surgery
- Duke depth chart breakdown - defensive line: Blue Devils will lean on four veterans
