On this episode of the DBR Podcast, we start in the NBA bubble, where Duke alumni such as Gary Trent, Jr., Grayson Allen, Jayson Tatum, and Brandon Ingram are showing out for their teams during the pre-playoff sprint for seeding and eligibility. Jason and Sam are particularly excited to discuss some unexpected performances throughout the league and compliment the NBA on the product so far.

Meanwhile, on campus at Duke and around the country, student athletes are returning for fall practices ahead of seasons that may or may not begin on time. We get into what we think about different schools’ and conferences’ plans for football season, as well as review some gaffes that coaching staffs have made regarding player health and safety. Finally, we go through our most interesting takeaways from the letter written by Pac-12 athletes demanding new student athletes rights.
