The NABC has created a group called the NABC Player Development Coalition, which will be a group of college basketball players who will advise on issues affecting student-athletes (sorry DTH).

Among the members: Duke’s Wendell Moore, who says this: “I am honored to be named Duke’s representative for the NABC Players Development Coalition. This is a tremendous opportunity to have players’ voices heard on the many pertinent issues facing college basketball. As a coalition, we are excited to become part of, not simply the recipients of the NCAA’s decision-making process. We appreciate the NABC being forward-thinking in this regard. I am anxious to get started.”

What to make of this? Well it’s evolutionary not revolutionary, but at least the players are getting more of a voice and that's bound to help on some level.
