You Tube Gold: One Smooth Weatherman

Being a weatherman might seem like a fairly simple job: you get the script, point to the screen and call it out.

Of course it’s not that easy. Modern weathermen have to know a tremendous amount of science and how to read some fairly sophisticated information.

And on occasion just getting names right.

Take this Welsh name Llanfair­pwllgwyngyll­gogery­chwyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch, which means St Mary’s church of the pool of the white hazels over against the pool of St Tysilio Gogo.

This weatherman had a chance to really blow this name (who wouldn’t?). Instead, it just rolls off his tongue.

He might have blown the weather that day but no one can take this away from him.
