Is Another Coach Hurley On The Horizon?

Danny’s son is in position

Bob Hurley had a sensational career at St. Anthony’s in Jersey City and his sons Bobby and Danny are both proving to be formidable college coaches. is there another Coach Hurley on the way?

Could be.

Danny’s son Drew will walk on at UConn where he’ll certainly be in a position to move into coaching.

His high school coach, Luke Reilly, said this:

“He’s the son of a coach and it’s in his blood. You see it in the way he competes, his competitiveness, his fire and how he thinks the game and how he brings out the best in everybody else. Those are the qualities of a winner.”

Or a Hurley, which is basically the same thing.

You know what’s going to be really though?

Bob Sr., who was so fiery on the sideline, is an absolute wreck when his sons coach. Poor guy may not make it when his son and grandson are on the court at the same time.
