Tre Jones As A Knick?

They could sure use him

NCAA Basketball: North Carolina at Duke

Could Tre Jones end up rejoining his former Duke teammate RJ Barrett as a New York Knick?

Maybe. This article talks about how New York could use as solid point guard and the Knicks currently have the sixth, 25th and 38th pick at least as of now.

Jones is certainly a player worth having but he could also have a secondary value as a comfort to Barrett.

Barrett spoke fondly of the Knicks when he was drafted but the franchise now is a wreck, a mere shell of what it used to be.

This article talks about Jones as a backup point guard but he’s good enough to be a solid NBA starter and it’s not like the Knicks are overwhelmed now with quality point guards.

Jones would also, along with Barrett, give the Knicks something they’ve lacked for a long time: character. It’s not coming from owner James Dolan.
