Gerald Henderson had an outstanding career at Duke before entering the NBA where he was also highly regarded before injuries ended his career.
He had some solid highlights at both levels. When he was at Duke, Stephen Curry, who was well regarded but not yet the icon he would become, had Davidson on the verge of a major upset. Henderson won the game for Duke with a late coast-to-coast play.
And in the NBA, he had this beautiful buzzer beater.
We can hardly describe everything that goes wrong on this play with the (then) Charlotte Bobcats but at the end of it, Henderson ends up with the ball and nails a three pointer to give Charlotte a 102-101 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
