The NBA is essentially at a standstill publicly but people in the front office are still making plans and other folks are happy to offer their opinions as well.
Enter Harry Giles.
The former Duke big man has shown big flashes with Sacramento but hasn’t fully established himself. He has worked hard to get past his knee surgeries and just hasn’t found a consistent spot in Sacramento’s crowded front court.
He has shown enough to draw interest as a free agent though and one of the teams where he might draw some interest is Cleveland.
The Cavaliers have basically floundered since LeBron James left for L.A. and while Giles is not James, he’s a very talented young player who could flourish on a team that could use some help. It might be a great match.
