May isn’t always the best month for ACC news but we have some today.
First, former Wake guard Chaundee Brown has found his next school: he’ll be at Michigan. As of right now he’ll have to sit out and will have one more year left.
Georgia Tech has picked up a series with UAB, starting this December. Former NC State guard Andy Kennedy (he was a Valvano recruit but didn’t finish in Raleigh) is the new UAB coach. He’s a pretty fair coach so that’s worth keeping an eye on.
Since the NCAA allowed athletics to start back up to some extent with on-campus work, Louisville is the first ACC school to take advantage and will have athletes back on campus next week. Florida State is looking at June.
- Packer and Durham Weekly at Home Premieres Thursday
- NC State basketball adds new assistant coaches
