Zion On To Hollywood?

It looks like Spike Lee is looking at a sequel to “He Got Game” and that he’d like Zion Williamson to be in it.

Could he do it?

Hard to say. Williamson’s physical talents have overshadowed his intellectual gifts, but he’s clearly intelligent. His high school teachers talked about this with his English teacher saying that he could have had a future as a writer if he wanted. We saw a comment somewhere from one of his Duke professors who was impressed with Williamson’s potential.

So clearly he’s not limited to his physical gifts. But acting?

It’d be fun to see if he could pull it off. Obviously he could handle the basketball side of the role but as we saw in the original, Ray Allen was adequate but hardly a natural. It would be an interesting stretch for Williamson, not noted for his extroverted nature away from the court.
