Duke Recruiting: Max Christie Update

Not a lot of specifics but loads of good feelings

There’s not a lot to back it up, but this article from FanBuzz.com is pretty high on the idea of Max Christie as a Blue Devil. It speculates about a Christie, AJ Griffin and Patrick Baldwin base for 2021.

If Christie has point guard skills, that would be really cool. Having multiple ballhandlers really complicates things for the defense.

And needless to say, that also means that other players will be drawn to play with that core - if it happens.

It might, it might not. Recruiting is a funny business. One of the classic stories is a kid who was all set to go to his dream school...until he got to campus and realized that his number was retired and he would not be able to wear it.

You just never know until things are settled.
