Dell Curry’s Corona Scare

That must have been a nerve-wracking experience

As the Coronavirus continues its global March, we’re hearing more and more about well-known people who have it or worse, have died from it: the British PM Boris Johnson is in intensive care. John Prine is dead. So is Bucky Pizarelli, Ellis Marsalis and Wallace Roney.

It’s cutting a wide swath and scaring the crap out of people, including Dell Curry, who thought he might have contracted it too.

Curry, now 55, is the father of Stephen and Seth, both of whom followed him into the NBA. Seth of course is a member of the Brotherhood and Steph has revolutionized the NBA with his spectacular shooting and ball handling.

Fortunately he didn't - he had walking pneumonia (this is where we are - walking pneumonia is a relief).

He talks here about his experience and what it was like to have visited his mother just before he got sick and having to worry about her too.

It just kind of underscores what Samuel L. Jackson has been saying in his own inimitable way: “stay the f*** at home.”
