Bored At Home: What’s A Radio Man Supposed To Do?

At times like this, you take your entertainment where you can find it.

We’re all living in some strange times to be sure, and all of us are having to find ways to entertain ourselves and to keep our skills up.

Even radio guys.

Take Virginia’s play-by-play man Dave Koehn. Last year, as he notes, he was covering Virginia in the Final Four. This year? Well, things are a bit different.

Stuck at home like the rest of us, Koehn and his family adopted a new cat and like anyone would be, Koehn is observing his new companion and learning his moves, predilections and eccentricities as Howard Cosell might have said.

Say what?

Well in a nutshell, in this twitter gem we get an idea of what a highly skilled professional can do with something as simple as a cat jumping over an obstacle. Koehn really plays it up and gets a chance to practice his game skills at the same time. We’d love it if even more radio men started to do this across the country with whatever situation, event or critter they’d like to cover.
