As you have probably noticed, we read recruiting news from opposing sites to get a feel for what they’re hearing about Duke targets.
This time it’s our colleagues at ASeaofBlue.com and they’re looking at Patrick Baldwin.
They don’t have any specific insights but also don't seem very optimistic about Kentucky’s chances:
“At this point, UK does not seem to be among the favorites. Baldwin noted that he took unofficial visits to Duke, North Carolina and Northwestern and with no timetable on when recruits will be able to take trips again, it may be hard for the Wildcats to get back in the game.
“On the flip side, there’s still nearly a year until Baldwin has to put pen to paper on any decision.”
Certainly true, but it’s nice to detect a sense of defeat in this particular case. That doesn’t necessarily mean that Duke is going to get him though.
