Duke has a tradition of scheduling the D-II champs for an exhibition game each fall. Obviously there is no champ this year since the post-season was canceled to the the pandemic, so that’s out. However, the tradition of scheduling a tough opponent continues as Duke has scheduled Walsh in Cameron on October 31st.

Walsh finished last season 25-6 and won the G-MAC conference before being forced to shut the season down.

Walsh is Catholic school in North Canton Ohio and is pretty small, with about 2,700 students. The last time the Cavaliers played a D-I school was Ohio State in 2016.
