Duke’s Trevon McSwain Signs With The Bears

As a free agent

NCAA Football: North Carolina at Duke
Nov 10, 2018; Durham, NC, USA; North Carolina Tar Heels running back Jordon Brown (2) runs into Duke Blue Devils defensive tackle Trevon McSwain (95) as North Carolina Tar Heels offensive lineman Jonathan Trull (70) pushes McSwain in the second half at Wallace Wade Stadium. The Duke Blue Devils won 42-35.

Unlike last season, when the New York Giants shocked everyone by taking Duke’s Daniel Jones with the sixth pick in the first round, no Blue Devils were drafted this time.

However, defensive tackle Trevon McSwain did sign on with the Chicago Bears as a free agent.

At 6-6 and 285, he clearly has the size to play in the league and whatever they end up doing with him, he’s going to be in the trenches.

He’s the only Blue Devil to be signed so far.
