A Great Idea From The Chronicle

Now this is fun

Just like the One Shining Moment montages, with no tournament capping the season, everyone is coming up with all kinds of brackets to ease the loss of March Madness.

Most of it is pretty trivial and foolish with bad decisions about even who should be listed, let alone who the winners should be.

So the Chronicle had the bright idea of setting up brackets with all Duke games.

Here’s how they broke it down:

The only complaint we have is that the oldest game listed is 1984. Among other things, that leaves out the the 1968 triple overtime classic, the Robbie West game in 1972 and the 1979 game where UNC tried to hold the ball the entire first half.

It’s hard to expect people who were mostly born in this century to know much about the last though so that can be overlooked. It’s a great idea and you ought to check it out.
