Now that the government is urging us all to wear face masks in public due to the Corona virus, they’ve been sold out for months and you can’t find any anywhere.
Fortunately, lots of people have come up with clever ways to make them and many companies and individuals are just cranking out what they can. It’s what Americans do best: we don’t wait for someone to tell us, we just jump in.
That said, not everyone can sew nor does everyone own a sewing machine. So for the rest of us, Surgeon General Jerome Adams has some instructions for a very basic mask you can make from stuff around the house.
You might have a better option or idea, but here’s where this is really great: when you have no choice but to go out and to go out quickly. Put this stuff in a corner somewhere and just be ready to pull it out. It’ll take less than 1 minute to put it together. Great tip.
