Zion Williamson went up against one of the NBA’s elites in Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo on Tuesday night and while he had his worst shooting performance by far - 5-19 - in many ways he held his own.
First he continues his good passing. It may or may not be in this video but he makes a spectacular tip of a long pass...to himself. Just kind of spikes it along for an alley-oop to himself. He missed it but so what! Amazing play.
He also had his share of dunks although the Greek Freak proved a formidable obstacle and had at least one big block on Williamson.
However, he settled that score too: Antetokounmpo went up for a rebound and had it...only to find an opportunistic Williamson nearby. Williamson easily wrenched it out of his hands and the look on Antetokounmpo’s face alone is worth a look. He’s completely shocked by Williamson’s strength and realizes he’s at a major disadvantage. Hit here and wait a few seconds for the replay. It’s worth it.
