Coming out of high school, or at least before his first knee injury, former Duke Blue Devil Harry Giles was seen as the best player in his class.
It took him awhile to get over his knee woes and his NBA journey has not been easy but he seems to be playing with vastly more confidence and fluidity as you’ll see here against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With injuries to teammates, notably fellow former Blue Devil Marvin Bagley, Giles is getting his shot and he’s making an impression.
In this game, he shot 7-11 for 19 points, had nine rebounds and played 24 minutes. Let’s hope it continues.
