Cam Reddish was erratic at Duke, partly due to injuries and partly because he was on the same team as RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson.
Even so, he showed a distinct flair for the clutch. Consider the Florida State game, here he hit the winning shot at the buzzer, or the Louisville game, where he nailed a long three after a casually arrogant pass back between the legs by RJ Barrett.
Keep in mind that Barrett willingly passed up a shorter shot because he knew, had no doubt, that Reddish was going to nail a spectacular three.
He seems to have a real knack to rise to the occasion and he did it for Atlanta Thursday night against Miami.
With the game tied 124-124 and about :36 seconds left, Reddish was guarding Goran Dragic and knocked the ball loose. He outran Dragic for the ball and dunked it to put Atlanta up by two with 31.4 left. Three Trae Young free throws later and Atlanta had the win.
Reddish finished with 16. Young, meanwhile, finished with a whopping 50 points.
