If you missed the NBA’s Rising Stars game Friday night, Zion Williams did not disappoint.

The former Blue Devil, teaming up with his one-time AAU teammate and fellow South Carolina native Ja Morant, scored 14 points on 7-11 shooting.

While it’s important to remember that there was no defense in this exhibition - the US side won 151-131 - Wiliams was still impressive.

And the most impressive thing of all?

He bent the rim.

Didn’t think he was responsible though, saying afterwards that “[w]e went into the halftime, and my teammates started telling me about it. I don’t know which dunk it was on, but I don’t think it was me.”

Who else?

Plus the camera crew highlighted the tilt immediately after it happened.

It was just one more bit of sparkle added to his growing fame.

Former Duke teammate RJ Barrett also participated, playing on the World team. He had 27 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals.

He was in fact the leading scorer on the evening.
