Does winning seven out of nine count as a season turn around?

If so, Duke has done it with the latest win coming on the road at Pitt, 73-56.

Leaonna Odom had 20 points to pace the Devils while Haley Gorecki had a tremendous game with 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

It’s not the first time she’s been in shouting distance of a triple double.

Jade Williams also added 10.

Duke led 38-30 at the half and was up 59-37 going into the fourth quarter. With the game basically over, Coach Joanne P. McCallie emptied her bench and gave the starters some rest.

With the win, Duke is 8-5 in the conference and 14-10 overall as mentioned previously.

Next up is Florida State in Cameron on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
