Duke Cruises By Miami On The Road

Duke cruised by Miami on the road Sunday 74-55 behind another strong game by Haley Gorecki.

Gorecki flirted with a triple-double with 13 points, 10 boards and seven assists. She also had three steals. Jade Williams had 16 points while Mikayla Boykin had 15.

Duke hasn’t always shot well this season but hit 49.1 percent in this one and outscored Miami in every quarter except for the third which was even at 14-14.

Duke has heated up and won six of its last eight to move to 13-10 overall and 7-5 in the ACC. Next up: Pitt at Pitt on Thursday.
