At Duke, Gerald Henderson had some spectacular plays. Two of the greatest were against Davidson and Maryland.
Against Steph Curry’s Wildcats, Henderson won the game on a last-second full court drive and against Maryland, he made a completely ridiculous dunk.
When we saw this dunk over Dwight Howard, then in his first stint with the Lakers, it reminded us a ton of the Maryland dunk.
Henderson retired in 2019 after he couldn’t overcome a knee injury.
And while we’re at it, his father had an immensely famous play in the NBA too so check out Gerald Henderson Sr.’s legendary steal for the Boston Celtics.
