It looks like there’s a chance that former Blue Devil Zion Williamson could make his belated NBA debut Thursday against Quin Snyder’s hot Utah Jazz.
Fortunately for everyone the game will be in New Orleans and close to sea level and not in Salt Lake City which is 4,226 feet above sea level. It’s a great place if you’re the home team and you’re adapted to the thin air but it’s not the place we’d pick to make a debut.
It’s a good thing he’s almost back because apparently bench boredom has set in at least once and you want to keep your guys occupied as much as possible.
If it’s Thursday, or whenever, don’t expect to see 48 minutes of the rook. He’ll be on restricted minutes until he fully works his way back.
