According to Zagsblog.com, coveted point guard Kennedy Chandler is down to ten schools: Duke, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and USC.
We haven’t heard anything much about his choices, but apparently, and surprisingly, Memphis is not really the favorite anymore. In fact, in a twist, it may be unlikely that the kid stays home and it’s very hard to get a Memphis kid away from Memphis: “Speaking of Chandler, it was made clear earlier this week that the Memphis star is no lock for Penny Hardaway and the hometown Tigers, and the Herald-Leader was told later in the week that it actually seems unlikely, at this stage in his recruitment, that Chandler will end up staying in the city for college.“
We’ll have to see how this one turns out. It’s getting interesting to say the least. The good news obviously is that Duke is still in it.
