With World Cup Play underway, here’s a look back at the 2016 US Olympic basketball team’s gold medal win over Spain.

The Spanish, who are once again very good, were challenging the US before the Krzyzewskian formula that proved too difficult to overcome prevailed: versatility, pressure defense, guard the hell out of the three and score in transition.

This is really fun to look back at. Gregg Popovich has a really different style, but the American advantages remain.
