Louisville got a commitment from a JUCO player and while you might think - huh, cool - apparently he’s really quite good. One article we saw said to think Top 15 if he was a freshman. He shot 46.4 percent from three point range.

His name is Jay Scrubb, he’s 6-6 and a hometown boy and he sounds really excited about the prospects of playing for Louisville.

There is a catch though.

He’s very well regarded after his first season of JUCO ball and could possibly be a draft candidate next spring and summer. So there’s no guarantee that Louisville actually gets him.

Given his excitement about the offer and the chance to play for his hometown school, we bet he plays at least one year.
