It’s still too early to say that rookie Daniel Jones is an unqualified success for the New York Giants, but the former Duke QB was put in for a series and made an immediate impression, marching the offense down the field and scoring.

Newsday all but predicts a quarterback controversy. Again, it’s a bit early for that, but remember how Jones was booed on Draft Night?

At the very least the media is excited. And given that this is New York, that’s pretty cool.
